1. Caudalie Vinoclean Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil

Price: $40 CAD → $32 with Rouge discount

Size: 150ml or 5oz
Best For: All skin types, including sensitive skin

Key Ingredients: Grape seed oil, sweet almond oil

What it is: This oil cleanser is very nourishing but surprisingly lightweight, smells divine (because it has a small amount of fragrance), gently but effectively removes sunscreen and makeup without irritating my sensitive skin, and keeping my skin hydrated at the same time.

If you double cleanse (and you should!), this oil cleanser is a game-changer. I have tried several expensive balms over the years that just broke me out and left an uncomfortable film on my skin. When I almost gave up on double cleansing, I found this gem. The Caudalie Vinoclean Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil is so lightweight and pleasure to use, emulsified beautifully and washes off completely clean without stripping my skin of its natural oil.

This cleansing oil is so underrated but it has been my holy grail for the past 10 years. I can’t remember how many bottles I have emptied until now. I even got my mom hooked on it even though she has never used oil cleanser before.

One bottle lasts me about 3 months in the winter time since I wear less sunscreen and make-up. It will only last me 1.5 month in the summer since I wear multiple layers of sunscreen and more makeup. That’s why the sale is the perfect chance for me to stock up on it for the whole year.

2. Kate Somerville EradiKate Daily Cleanser

Price: $62 CAD → $49.6 with Rouge discount

Size: 120ml or 4oz
Best For: Acne-prone and oily to combo skin

Key Ingredient: 3% sulfur

What it is: This cleanser is gentle yet powerful acne cleanser featuring 3% sulfur to clear blemishes, unclog pores, and reduce breakouts.

This cleanser was my ride-or-die during university when stress-induced acne ruled my life. For years, this was the one and only cleanser and acne treatment that I used to keep my acne at bay. It worked extremely well with consistent use.

Sulfur is a very underrated ingredient for acne treatment since it is anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and gentle on sensitive skin.

With 3% sulfur, it’s strong enough to clear breakouts but gentle enough not to strip my dry and sensitive skin of its life. I stopped using this cleanser when my acne cleared up a while ago. However, recent weather changes have made my skin going out of control again, I decide to get this cleanser. I will be using it 2–3 times a week now instead of daily since my skin is dryer than before. The cleanser lasts forever—we’re talking a year of use from one tube since a little goes a long way. Just a pea size amount is enough for each wash. If you’re battling acne and want something effective yet gentle, this is it.

💡 Pro Tip: Try the 30ml travel size for $19 if you’re not ready to commit.

3. Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster

Price: $55 CAD → $45 with Rouge discount

Size: 30ml or 1oz
Best For: sensitive, acne-prone

Key Ingredient: 10% Azelaic acid

What it is: A lightweight cream-gel formula containing 10% azelaic acid, which visibly reduces redness, hyperpigmentation, and uneven texture. Azelaic acid can also strengthen your skin barrier overtime when used consistently which will also show up to after 6 months of use in my personal experience.

This product singlehandedly saved my skin after Tretinoin destroyed it during the pandemic. I broke out in red, inflamed and painful acne for a whole 9 moths which I thought was a Tretinoin purging (sadly, I was wrong). I was so conscious that I would cry for days and didn’t want to meet anyone (The pandemic did help me in this aspect though 😅). Finally I decided to stop using Tretinoin and strip my routine back to basic to heal my skin. The Paula’s Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster was the one and only acne treatment and nothing else—and it worked 🤗. It took about two months of consistent use to see some visible results, and then it completely transformed my skin 1 year later. I know and believe me acne treatments can’t be rushed. You really gotta be patient.

It’s now a permanent part of my routine, and I can use it 3–4 times a week. I would never go anywhere without my booster. A 30ml tube lasts me around 6 months.

💡 Pro Tip: Apply a pea-sized amount only—it’s all you need for your face and neck if it’s not too sensitive!

4. Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Rejuvenating Cream Rich for Anti-aging

Price: $350 CAD → $280 with Rouge discount

Size: 50ml or 1.7oz
Best For: Dry, aging, and dull skin

Key Ingredients: Ginsenomic, Ginseng peptides, retinol

What it is: This is a luxurious, nutrient-rich cream harnesses the power of Korean Ginseng to visibly plump and restore dry skin. With the power of Korean ginseng, peptides and retinol derived from ginseng, this cream addresses fine lines and wrinkles, rejuvenates the skin’s appearance and enhances its resilience over time.

Yes, this is definitely a luxury item (I can already feel alot of eye rolls at me 🥲)—but hear me out. This ginseng-powered moisturizer gives me the most radiant glow, and just feels incredibly indulgent. Ginseng offers a wide range of benefits including healing your skin and reducing redness and irritation which is exactly what it does for my skin. I can’t sing enough praises about this cream.

Sulwhasoo has recently reformulated and upgraded the packaging of their Concentrated Ginseng line by peptides in most of the products in the range and now has an even better texture and benefits. I don’t know how they did it but they took an already phenomenal product and turned it into an even more amazing one. I have a chance of trying out the new one recently and my skin has never felt more beautiful and glowing literally from the inside out. Even though it doesn’t directly treat my acne, the cream does make it go away fast and fade my hyperpigmentation like a dream.

My mom is also a Sulwhasoo super fan even though I only introduced it to her 3 years ago. She is in her mid 50s now and is using the whole Concentrated Ginseng line. Those products literally have transformed her skin to the best looking skin that she has in years.

Just for comparison, I used to spend $75 on a basic Kate Sommerville oil free moisturizer which now cost $103 every 6 weeks. So technically, I still spent about 450$ in 6 months. That’s a lot when I actually put it down on paper, right?

Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Rejuvenating Cream Rich is only 50ml but it can last me 6 months. Here is my secret: I only use a pea-size amount for my face and neck, spread it out evenly a couple times a week at night, sometimes during the day if my skin is in really bad condition, and then layer another thick moisturizer like the La Roche Posay Cicablast B5 balm on top to seal everything in.This way I will still get the full benefits of the Sulwhasoo cream and lock in the hydration that my skin needs so much during nighttime and especially in the winter time. Soooo…it costs $350 CAD but divide that by 6 months, you’d spend less than 2$/day. And with the discount, you would spend even less than that. Not too bad right? That’s called girl math, ladies! 🤣

You can tell from how much praises I’m giving this product. It is definitely another holy grail product for me that I would never want to stop using it if I can. If you want to try luxury skincare and not worry about your budget, this is the perfect chance to try the Sulwhasoo cream out. I promise you won’t regret it.

Quick note: There’s also a lighter version if you have oily/combination skin.

💡 Perfect Mother’s Day gift alert!

5. Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask

Price: $73 CAD → ~$58 with Rouge discount

Size: 120ml or 4.05oz
Best For: Dehydrated, tired skin

Key Ingredients: Nutritive RED Elixir™ and Korean herbal complex

What it is: This overnight mask is formulated with Nutritive RED Elixir™ which is a blend of jujube and pomegranate extracts that supports a strong skin moisture barrier and traditional Korean herbs to deliver intensive hydration and nourishment while you sleep. It helps strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier, leaving your complexion revitalized and radiant by morning.

Forget Laneige sleeping mask. This is the real sleeping mask that changed my mind about overnight mask. Every time I use this mask, I’d wake up with the plumpest, juiciest and the most glowy skin —especially when layered over the Sulwhasoo Ginseng Cream.

Looking at the price tag, this mask is also relatively expensive which is $73 for about 4oz so that works out to about $18.25/oz which is cheaper than the Laneige sleeping mask (surpriseddd!). This tube usually lasts me almost a year making it a surprisingly affordable luxury.

💡 Pro Tip: A small amount is enough for your whole face and neck.
